Nettie ADAMS

Dr. Adams was a school teacher in Washington, D.C. for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. Currently, she is a DoDDS instructor in Okinawa and has been with CTC's adjunct faculty since March 2002, teaching Curriculum Resources for Early Childhood and Creative Arts for Early Childhood. Dr. Adams holds a Ph.D. from the Union Institute in Administration in Special Education, a Master's from Howard University in Special Education, and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Federal City College.

Paul ANGLADE
 
Mr. Anglade joined CTC's adjunct faculty in 2003 as a distance learning instructor of sociology. Prior to this, he retired from the military as a Lieutenant Commander of the navy, having specialized in strategic planning. Mr. Anglade teaches Introduction to Sociology and Marriage and the Family. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Troy State University and Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/Journalism from Howard University.

A. BALDONADO
 
Mr. Baldonado joined the Pacific Far East Campus in May of 2005 as an instructor in the Human Resource and Business Management curriculums. He is also serving in the U. S. Air Force as an information manager providing guidance on assigned administrative support functions. Mr. Baldonado holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in business administration from Northcentral University and resides in Korea.

S. BECK
 
Ms. Beck has been a school teacher since 1997 in Florida and then in Colorado. She joined CTC in October 2005 and currently teaches Developmental Studies for Language Arts and Basic Skills Education Program in Japan. Ms. Beck has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Colorado.

  R. BENTON
 
Mr. Benton joined CTC in February 2005 as a computer instructor in Korea. Prior to this, Mr. Benton provided on-site technical assistance with software operating systems. He currently teaches Integrated Software Applications and Database Applications and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College.

J. BLACK
 
Mr. Black joined CTC in November of 1998 as a part-time instructor, teaching Problem Solving, Introduction to the Internet, Microsoft PowerPoint, Introduction to PC Operating Systems, and Introduction to Word Processing. Mr. Black has a Bachelor's from the University of Maryland University College and lives in Korea.

Bruce BOOKOUT
 
Mr. Bookout is one of the distinguished group of instructors contributing to our program in Diego Garcia. He has taught mathematics since joining CTC in June 2003 while simultaneously serving as a site manager for Northrop Grumman Information Technology. There he oversees all operational and maintenance activities on the site, including civil engineering, security, quality control, training, and personnel administration. Mr. Bookout holds a Master's from Webster University in Space Systems Operations Management and a Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Florida.

Gary BOOTS
 
Mr. Boots has taught College Algebra for CTC in Japan since March 2005. Mr. Boots is a life-long educator, having served as the assistant director of human resources for Plano Independent School District in Plano, TX, in addition to school teacher. He holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern Iowa.

John BRADFORD
 
Mr. Bradford teaches General Biology out of Japan. He is a lieutenant in the U. S. Army and joined CTC in March 2005. Mr. Bradford has a Master's in Biological Sciences from Wichita State University and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kentucky-Lexington. He currently serves as chief of the Environmental Health Program at Camp Zama.

Donna BREWER
 
Ms. Brewer is a member of CTC's Criminal Justice program as an adjunct faculty teaching Police Systems & Practices, Child Abuse, Prevention and Investigation, Fundamentals of Criminal Law, and Rights of Prisoners in Okinawa. In addition to joining CTC in March of 2003, Ms. Brewer also works for the Army Criminal Investigation Davison in Okinawa.

David BROWN
 
David Brown was a full-time instructor with CTC in 1993-1994, rejoining the Pacific Far East Campus in January of last year as a full-time computer instructor. Mr. Brown received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from West Point Military Academy, after which he served in the military before transitioning to the civilian sector of the military for 10 years, installing hardware and software and performing updates and training. Mr. Brown is based in Mainland Japan.

John BURZYNSKI
 
Mr. Burzynski joined CTC in August of 2002 as an adjunct faculty for the school's business management program. Mr. Burzynski is a military retiree with more than 30 years of experience in business management. He lives in Korea and holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor's from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

Anne CANNON

Ms. Cannon is a DoDDS teacher in Japan while serving on CTC's adjunct faculty for the Child Development program. Courses taught include Creative Arts for Early Childhood, Child Guidance, and Family and the Community. Ms. Cannon holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Massachusetts University, and a Teaching Certificate from Rio Salado College.

Jillian CARILLI
 
Ms. Carilli comes to CTC's Legal Studies program as an adjunct faculty from a law firm in Washington, where she practiced civil law as a family law attorney. She holds a Juris Doctor from Tulane University's School of Law and a BA in English from the University of Missouri. Ms. Carilli lives in Japan and has taught Contracts and Introduction to Law and the Legal Profession.

Rita CHUNG
 
Ms. Chung began her career with CTC teaching for the English Language Training Program for KATUSA and American Preparatory Institute/College Non-Credit program. She became a full-time distance learning Government instructor in 2004. Prior to joining CTC, Ms. Chung's professional experience was rooted in communications and marketing. She is based in Korea and holds a Bachelor's and Master's in International Politics and East Asian Studies, respectively, from Georgetown University.

John CLEARY
 
Since 1994, Mr. Cleary has instructed CTC students in management and history. Before joining CTC, he worked as an Intelligence Operations Specialist and Special Operations Officer for the U. S. Army. Mr. Cleary has long held an interest in foreign language and culture, having obtained his Master's Degree in 20th Century History (Asian/African Studies) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. John's University. He currently lives in Korea.

Carrie CLINE
 
Ms. Cline joined CTC in May of 2004 as an instructor of Business Writing and Composition classes. She holds an MA and BA in English from Wichita State University. Ms. Cline currently resides in Okinawa.

Nicole CONRAD
 
Ms. Conrad has been a teacher her entire life, instructing students in fine arts and cultural studies across the Pacific Far East and in the U. S. She began her career with CTC as a part-time fine arts instructor before joining the full-time faculty in 2001. Ms. Conrad holds both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Arizona State University.

Thomas COX
 
Mr. Cox teaches Crime in America, Criminalistics, and Introduction to Criminal Justice. He joined CTC in September of 2004 and currently commands a unit of federal law enforcement agents under the Air Force Office of Special Investigation in Korea. Mr. Cox holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Gene DEFREITAS
 
Mr. Defreitas served in the U. S. Marine Corps for 20 years before joining CTC as a management and computer instructor. While in the military, he assumed various management positions involving auditing, asset management, and other accounting functions. He was also a computer instructor for the Army and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Campbell University and a Master's Degree in Management from Troy State University. Mr. Defreitas is based in Okinawa. His classes include Principles of Management, Integrated Software Applications, Introduction to Word Processing, and Entrepreneurship and Business Development.

Marcello DELANO
 
Since 1986, Mr. Delano has worked as an antiterrorism force protection, investigations, correction, and law enforcement specialist with the U. S. Navy. He joined CTC in January of 2005 as an adjunct faculty for the Criminal Justice Program in Guam and holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Gasper DELISE
 
Ms. Diggs is a DoDDS teacher who joined CTC in October of 2003 as an instructor for the Child Development program in Okinawa teaching Nutrition, Safety and health, Early Childhood Development, and Introduction to Early childhood Professions. Ms. Diggs holds a Master's in Special Education from Bowie State University, Master's in Educational Leadership from Troy State University, and Bachelor's in Special Education from the University of the district of Columbia.

Sally DONALDSON
 
Ms. Donaldson was a real estate specialist before she began her teaching career in secondary education. Her students extended to adults when she joined CTC in 1995 as a part-time instructor of fine arts, becoming a full-time instructor in early 2004. Ms. Donaldson holds a Master of Arts in Education Supervision and Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from Texas A&M University. She currently resides in Mainland Japan.

John EBERL

Mr. Eberl was briefly a part-time instructor before joining the school's full-time English faculty in 2004. His early professional years were spent in environmental sciences, working with various government agencies and compiling scientific data. He later moved onto computers, having worked in technical support for several years before coming to Korea and initiating a new career in teaching. Mr. Eberl is based in Korea and holds a Master's in English and Bachelor's in Biology from Humboldt State University.

Jamie ENGBERG
 

Ms. Engberg's career has been devoted to the instruction of mathematics to high school and college students. She became a member of CTC's full-time faculty of mathematics in 2005. Ms. Engberg is based in Korea and received her Master's in Mathematics from Eastern New Mexico University and her Bachelor's in Mathematics from St. Olaf College.

Frances FISTER-STOGA
 

Ms. Fister-Stoga is an adjunct faculty for CTC's English curriculum in Japan. Prior to joining CTC in March of 2005, Ms. Fister-Stoga served with several other colleges, including Tokyo University, the University of Maryland, and Temple University in Japan. She holds several degrees, including a Master of Arts in English from McGill University and a Bachelor's in English from the University of Massachusetts. She has been working on her Doctorate in Education with the University of Bristol since 2001.

Maria FLORES
 
Ms. Flores became part of CTC's full-time faculty in September of 2005, teaching Principles of Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Business Principles. Previously, she was with MWR and a controller for the travel industry. Ms. Flores holds an MBA from the University of Guam and a Bachelor of Science in Tourism from the University of the Philippines.

Kathleen A. FRANCISCO
 
Ms. Francisco is a graduate of the University of Maryland's Business Administration program and holds an MPA from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining CTC in December of 2005 to teach Small Business Accounting and Personal Finance in Okinawa, she was an Education Services Specialist.

R. FUNK
 
Mr. Funk came to CTC in May of 2004 after serving twenty years with the U. S. Marine Corps., ten of which were also spent working with education institutions like the U. S. Naval Academy. Mr. Funk holds an MA in political science from Kansas State University, MPA from the University of Oklahoma, and BA from the University of Central Florida. He is currently an adjunct faculty in CTC's government curriculum out of Japan.

Edward GARDNER

Mr. Gardner is an adjunct faculty for CTC's criminal justice program in Japan. His classes include Legal Aspects of Law Enforcement and Criminal Investigation. Mr. Gardner has taught for other educational institutions including The Citadel and the University of South Carolina, having received his Master of Criminal Justice from USC and BA in political science from Niagara University.

Ronald GILCHRIST
 
Mr. Gilchrest teaches Principles of Management and Human Resource Management for CTC's business management program in Korea. He is also certified in numerous computer, networking, administrator, and operating systems, having spent 22 years in the U. S. Army managing communications and technical systems. Mr. Gilchrets holds a Master's in Human Resource Development from the University of Central Texas and a BS from the University of Maryland.

Venice GOODWINE
 
Ms. Goodwine brings with her more than a decade of experience as a computer systems administrator for such organizations as Lockheed Martin and the Department of Defense. She is the most recent addition to the school's full-time faculty, holding an MBA in Executive Leadership from William Carey College and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Maryland. Ms. Goodwine is based in Okinawa and teaches Integrated Software Applications, Introduction to Computers, Fundamentals of Networking Technologies, Internet Commerce, Internet/Web Page Development, and Introduction to PC Operating Systems.

Keith GRAFF
 
Mr. Graff is a Chief Petty Officer for the U. S. Navy while also serving as an adjunct faculty teaching Principles of Management, Human Relations, and Human Resource Management for CTC in Okinawa since August 2005. Mr. Graff holds a Master's in Management from Webster University and a Bachelor's in Management from the University of Maryland.

Leslie GRAY
 
Mr. Gray has been a criminal justice instructor since August 2004 in Japan, teaching Fundamentals of Criminal Law, Child Abuse, Prevention & Investigation, Legal Aspects of Law Enforcement, and Probation and Parole. Prior to joining CTC, Mr. Gray was a United National Police Officer in East Timor and a patrol officer in Arizona. He holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Mesa Community College.

Mr. Grieb is a member of CTC's adjunct faculty in Korea, teaching business management and human relations. Prior to joining CTC in August 2005, he was a regional manager with L-3 Communication Vertex Aerospace based in Missouri. Alfred GRISSIM
 
Mr. Grissim joined CTC in March 2003, teaching a variety of subjects to the military including computers and business management. Previously, he served in the U. S. Army for seven years as a dining facility manager.

Kenneth GUALTIER
 
Mr. Gualtier first joined CTC as a field representative in January 2000. Shortly thereafter, he began teaching computers as a part-time instructor. He later became a full-time computer instructor in October 2002 and today teaches American Government, Integrated Software Applications, Introduction to computers, Web Authoring, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Introduction to PC Operating Systems. Mr. Gualtier is based in Korea and has a Bachelor of Arts in Government from UMUC and a Master's Degree from Troy State in International Relations. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in international relations at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. Prior to joining CTC, he worked in intelligence and personnel administration while serving in the military.

Roy HANES
 
Mr. Hanes joined CTC in March 2005 as an adjunct faculty in business management. He retired from the military after 30 years of service, the latter part of which was spent in the Inspector General's Office as an installation manager. Ron HARTSELL
 
Mr. Hartsell is an adjunct instructor in psychology for CTC in Korea. When he joined CTC in August 2003, he was also a visiting professor for the Department of International Office Management at Ewha Woman's University. Mr. Hartsell was also a counselor at St. Mary's Medical Center Crisis Unit and the Osceola Crisis Center. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communications from Carson-Newman College.

Terry HAYS

Ms. Holmes teaches for CTC's Early Childhood Development program in Japan. Rafael JACKSON

Mr. Jackson has taught aviation maintenance in Okinawa since August 2004 while also serving with the U.S. Air Force since 1982. Prior to joining CTC, he served in various teaching and maintenance positions in the U.S. Mr. Jackson holds an MBA from the University of South Dakota and a BA from Black Hills State University.

Thomas JONES
 
Dr. Jones has been an adjunct faculty for Psychology since August 2005 in Japan. Currently, he is a social science analyst for the U.S. Government, performing diagnostic work and providing a full range of counseling and therapy support to all age groups. Dr. Jones holds a Ph.D. from the Institute for Human Sciences and an M.A. from National University.

Linda JOO
 
Ms. Joo has taught for CTC's Psychology curriculum since June 1998. Prior to this, she provided assessments and outreach for children and adolescents in New York. Ms. Joo holds an Master's in Social Work from New York University.

In Young JUNG
 
Mr. Jung was a part-time instructor for math and FAST classes before joining the school's full-time faculty last year, teaching Elementary Statistical Methods, Introduction to computers, College Algebra, and Web Authoring. His professional experience also includes engineer and business owner against an educational background that includes a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Mr. Jung is based in Korea and also holds a Master's Degree in Education from National University.

Mr. Jungjohan is based in Diego Garcia and has taught the school's computer science program since January 2006, including Introduction to Word Processing, Introduction to Spreadsheets, Integrated Software Application, and Internet/Web Page Development. He currently serves as a network specialist for the U.S. Navy and holds an MSc from the University of Phoenix and BS in Sociology from the University of New York.

Stuart M. KARMELIN

Mr. Karmelin teaches computer science in Korea. Since joining CTC in May 2004, he provided computer support to the U.S. Army. Mr. Karmelin holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Mary KELLEY
 
Ms. Kelley has been a speech instructor in Okinawa since April 2002. Prior to this, she was a speech pathologist for DoDDS for almost 20 years. Ms. Kelley holds a Master's in Education from Penn State and a Bachelor's from Bloombsburg State University.

Ms. Kimball-Huth joined CTC in August 2005 as an adjunct faculty for the Sociology curriculum in Okinawa. She also works with the DOD Task Force on Sexual Harassment and Violence at the Military, previously serving as an information and referral specialist with Marine and Family Services. Russell KROGH
 
Mr. Krogh first joined CTC as a field representative back in March 1989. He was also a part-time management and law enforcement instructor before becoming a member of the school's full-time faculty of management and criminal justice in January 1996. Mr. Krogh is based in Korea and has an Associates Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College. He was a sergeant in the military, serving in such positions as correctional guard supervisor, patrol supervisor, unit police supervisor, artillery firing analyst, and machine gunner prior to joining CTC.
